Access Control

The first question would be ….

what is an access control system?

Access control systems are designed to control and monitor access into and out of given areas of buildings, premises and locations.

The most basic form of access control would be a simple coded keypad to restrict entry into a specified area, the systems can go from this to a far more complex system allowing access into multiple area’s however restricting access to other areas.

Each system can utilise multiple technologies to identify persons, linked to that person will be information and access rights to determine whether they are to be granted access to that particular area.

In order to gain the full benefit from an access control system the system has to be designed and operated correctly, there is no point in installing a system that is far too complex for the nature and use of the building, likewise there would be no point in installing a basic keypad to a hi security communications area.

This is where Servian Fire & Security can assist, years of experience has taught us how to listen to clients and interpret their requirements this in turn ensures that we install is what the clients require without using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
